Navy Taps 4 Firms for $97M R&D IDIQ


ContractThe U.S. Navy has awarded positions on a potential two-year, $96, 945, 000 contract for research and development services to Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), CENTRA Technology, ManTech SRS Technologies (NASDAQ: MANT) and Schafer Corp.

Awardees will provide technical, programmatic, financial and administrative services for several Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency programs, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract contains provisions for firm-fixed-price task orders on a performance basis.

Task orders are scheduled to complete by November 2015 under the base period and could extend through November 2017 if the Navy exercises all options.
