ICF International Closes $295M Olson Buy; Sudhakar Kesavan Comments

ICF International (NASDAQ: ICFI) has completed the acquisition of Olson, a provider of marketing technology and digital services,  for $295 million.

ICF bought Olson in cash from private equity firm KRG Capital Partners and other shareholders, ICF said Wednesday.

“Together, ICF and Olson will guide clients through this new digital revolution across all markets, offering the ability to efficiently and effectively reach out to customers and stakeholders, ” Sudhakar Kesavan,  ICF chairman and CEO, said Oct. 21.

Olson offers strategic advisory services,  analytics-based marketing and software-driven client retention programs to customers.

The acquisition also covers Olson’s Tally customer relationship management platform, the Social Media Accelerator tool and the Brand Anthropology market segmentation tool.

Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Olson employs 545 individuals who work to drive engagement for brands worldwide, ICF added.
