Cheryl Cook, vice president and general manager of channel and alliances at Dell, said Wednesday that the alliance will deliver the products to finance, healthcare and manufacturing clients in the public and private sectors.
The companies will build a managed virtual desktop infrastructure for customers to manage mobile access to data and applications through either CGI’s cloud or a third-party data center.
CGI and Dell will also design a business analytics product to contain a predictive analytics function designed to extract business intelligence from corporate data.
A third tool, an enterprise access management product, will be built to balance user access and information security.
The managed VDI product will be initially available to clients in North America and the U.K. early next year.
