Michael Berry to Serve as Informatica EVP, CFO; Sohaib Abbasi Comments

InformaticaMichael Berry, former chief financial officer of IO, will begin work next month as executive vice president and CFO at Informatica (NASDAQ: INFA), where he will oversee finance and investor relations, among other functions.

He succeeds former CFO Earl Fry, who will move forward as chief customer officer and EVP for operations strategy, Informatica said Thursday.

“With his distinguished background in license, subscriptions and services businesses, Mike brings valuable financial and operational experience to Informatica as we focus on our growth opportunities in cloud and big data, ” said Sohaib Abbasi, chairman and chief executive officer.

Berry previously held leadership roles at SolarWinds,  i2 Technologies,  Reynolds and Reynolds and Comdata.

He is a member of security software firm Rapid7‘s board of directors as well as chairman of its audit committee.
