DynCorp Wins $85M for Navy Trainer Plane Maintenance, Logistics


DyncorpLogoDynCorp International has won a one-year,  $83, 373, 932 contract to help the U.S. Navy perform depot-level maintenance and logistics work on close to 400 trainer planes for the chief of naval air training.

The Air Force received five proposals for the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery, requirements contract through a competitive procurment conducted via an electronic request for proposals, the Defense Department said Monday.

The contract covers maintenance and logistics work for 53 T-34, 54 T-44, and 288 T-6 aircraft.

Support services under the contract will include labor, services, facilities, equipment, tools, related support equipment, direct and indirect material.

DynCorp will perform half of the contract work in Corpus Christi, Texas and the remainder at other locations inside the continental U.S.
