DLT Lands $322M Navy BPA for Symantec Software Licenses; Jerry Hill Comments

dlt logoDLT Solutions has won a potential five-year, $322 million blanket purchase agreement for Symantec product licenses and related support services to the Department of the Navy.

The BPA contains one base year and four option years and was awarded through DON’s Enterprise Software Licensing Initiative, DLT said Tuesday.

DLT also built an online customer portal where DON and Marine Corps users can view, request and order Symantec enterprise-grade offerings.

“We will continue to work with Symantec to support the DON’s key programs via value-added services such as the DLT Service Center and the DLT Customer Portal, ” said Jerry Hill, director of DLT’s enterprise data management and cloud division.

The contract allows naval organizations to access Symantec-made storage, clustering, security, endpoint management, backup and recovery platforms.
