Peter Lawrence, the department’s chief information officer, said Wednesday that Australia has set goals for integrating “infrastructure and applications, improving the overall effectiveness and efficiency of data center delivery in defense.”
âCentralized processing will deliver a smaller number of more reliable and resilient data centers, from within 280 data centers to 11 domestically and three internationally, â he added.
Australia also aims to fulfill its capability requirements through 2022 through the adoption of a centralized processing environment .
Raydon Gates, Lockheed Martin Australia CEO,  said the company will work to deliver information technology infrastructure and services in order to help Australia execute business and military operations.
