Dr. Joseph DiZinno, a two-decade FBI veteran and a former executive at BAE Systems, has joined AMERICAN SYSTEMS as vice president of identity intelligence for the Chantilly, Virginia-based government services contractor.
He will oversee an organization that provides identity analytics support for federal homeland security, counterterrorism, healthcare and law enforcement programs in his new position, AMERICAN SYSTEMS said Monday.
DiZinno spent 22 years with FBI and held roles such as special agent, section chief and director of the bureau’s forensic analysis laboratory.
He supervised the FBI Laboratory’s more-than 550 personnel that help federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies with criminal investigations.
DiZinno has worked at BAE’s homeland security and law enforcement sector as a technical director and led federal programs at rapid DNA technology firm IntegenX.
