Fred Graffam has assumed the role of interim chief financial officer atÂ DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI) in addition to his position as vice president of financial planning andÂ analysis.
Graffam takes the additional roleÂ as the company continues to scout for the replacement ofÂ Yancey Spruill, Â DigitalGlobe said Wednesday.

Graffam was previously senior VP of finance for the NorthÂ America and Asia Pacific regions atÂ Level 3 CommunicationsÂ (NYSE: LVLT)Â before he joinedÂ DigitalGlobe.
After working as public accountant atÂ Deloitte, Â the executiveÂ transferred toÂ ComcastÂ (NASDAQ: CMCSA) servingÂ asÂ SVP for the company’s Beltway Region from 2008 to 2011 and as SVP of finance for itsÂ West Division from 2002 to 2008.
