Boeing to Deliver Aircraft Components, Spares to Saudi Arabia for $235M


Boeing Logo w-borderBoeing (NYSE: BA) will provide long-lead items ahead of the assembly and delivery of 24 AH-6i aircraft and associated ground support equipment and spare parts as part of a $234.7 million foreign military sale to Saudi Arabia.

The Defense Department said Friday the contract work will be done in Mesa, Arizona,  through the end of 2016.

Boeing received the contract through the U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama.

The Army released an obligated amount of approximately $115 million at the time of the contract award.
