Richard Silver Named Pragmatics Business Development Lead; Dr. Long Nguyen Comments


Pragmatics logoRichard Silver, a more than 30-year contracting veteran, has joined Pragmatics as chief business development officer at the Reston, Virginia-based government information technology services provider.

He will be responsible for the company’s market research, proposal development and capture activities and report directly to CEO Dr. Long Nguyen, Pragmatics said Monday.

Dr. Nguyen said Silver brings three decades of experience identifying and capturing business opportunities within the federal sector to his new position.

Silver most recently held the roles of managing partner and strategic capture and proposal manager at market development consulting firm Aperture Growth Strategies.

Before that, he spent 10 years at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) as the company’s BD vice president.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a master of public administration degree from Syracuse University.
