Hamed Zaghw Named President of Parsons’ Middle East, Africa Arm; Chuck Harrington Comments

Hamed Zaghw, formerly executive director for the Middle East-Africa region at Parsons, has been named president of the company’s business operations in that part of the world – Parsons International Ltd.

Zaghw started in the position Aug. 3 and will oversee the construction and engineering services contractor’s activities in the Middle East and Africa, Parsons said Monday.

“We look forward to Hamed’s contributions in this expanded role and know he will continue to contribute to delivering the Parsons PLUS to our customers and projects in the Middle East Africa region, ” said Chuck Harrington, Parsons’ chairman and CEO.

Zaghw joined the company in 1990 with responsibility in the Abu Dhabi transportation and roads improvement program.

His career at Parsons has included service as vice president and sector manager in the road and highway division and division manager for transportation in the MEA region.

Zaghw will continue to be based in Parsons’ regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
