Chris Bernhardt: DynCorp to Refresh State Dept IT Equipment Under $165M Order


DyncorpLogoDynCorp International has received a potential five-year, $165 million task order to provide information technology services to the U.S. State Department‘s more than 300 sites worldwide.

The company said Tuesday it will work with the Bureau of Information Resource Management to refresh the agency’s computers and servers globally under the Vanguard 2.2.3 Global Information Technology Modernization project.

“DI has a long history of providing support to the U.S. Department of State and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to expand that support by bringing information technology solutions wherever they are needed, ” said Chris Bernhardt, DynCorp president.

The bureau awarded the firm-fixed-price, labor-hours hybrid contract to DynCorp through the Federal Supply Schedule Logistics Worldwide vehicle.
