General Dynamics Wins $65M Contract Modification for Iraq M1A1 Abrams Support


general dynamics logoThe General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) Land Systems business has won a $65.3 million contract modification from the U.S. Army to provide support services for Iraq’s M1A1 Abrams tanks.

The Defense Department posted Thursday that the Foreign Military Sale includes specialized training and contractor logistics and base life support.

The contract, awarded through the Army Contracting Command in Warren, Michigan, has a period of performance until February 2015.
