General Dynamics Receives $67M Order for Armored Carriers


general dynamics logoA General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) subsidiary will build 32 armored personnel carriers for the Peruvian Marines under a $67 million contract awarded by Peru’s defense ministry.

General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada expects deliveries of the amphibious light armored vehicles to begin in mid-2015, General Dynamics said Thursday.

The Canadian business will also provide logistics support to the Peruvian Marines.

General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada won the contract through government-owned Canadian Commercial Corp.
