Francois Boulanger to Take EVP, CFO Roles at CGI Group; Michael Roach Comments


CGI-logoFrancois Boulanger, senior vice president and corporate controller at CGI Group (NYSE: GIB), has been promoted to the roles of executive VP and chief financial officer at the Montreal-based technology services provider.

Boulanger will assume the position on Oct. 1 and succeed the retiring David Anderson, who will continue on in an advisory role until January 2015, CGI said Wednesday.

Boulanger will report to Michael Roach, president and CEO, as member of the CGI executive team.

“As a leader, David’s lasting contributions go well beyond the financial organization into all areas of our business operations and culture, ” said Roach.

Boulanger, a 25-year veteran in the technology and services industry, joined CGI in 1998 and was appointed as corporate controller in 2006 after holding various senior finance roles.

“We look forward to the continued contribution he will make as he leads our global financial team worldwide, ” said Roach.
