BAE to Purchase Analytics Tech Developer Signal Innovations Group; DeEtte Gray Comments


acquisitionBAE Systems has agreed to acquire imaging and analytics technology provider Signal Innovations Group for an undisclosed sum in a move to offer integrated products in the defense and intelligence markets.

DeEtte Gray, president of BAE’s intelligence and security business, said Thursday the companies aim to help organizations analyze critical data for strategic and tactical use.

“Together, we also have the potential to leverage our capabilities and bring this technology to a number of innovative commercial applications in an affordable way, ” Gray added.

The companies expect to complete the transaction in the third quarter of 2014, subject to regulatory approvals.
