Bill Angrick: Liquidity Services Builds DLA Ties with 2-Year Surplus Mgmt Contract


Bill-AngrickLiquidity Services looked to build on its decade-long relationship with the Defense Logistics Agency with a new two-year contract to provide surplus management for its disposition services division.

Bill Angrick, chairman and CEO of Liquidity Services, said Wednesday the company has processed and sold more than 240 million usable surplus assets for the Pentagon.

“(This) deep experience… will enable us to continue to provide innovative solutions to our agency partner while enhancing value for these items by integrating our sales with the General Services Administration’s official government sales portal, ” he added.

The contract, with four one-year options, involves the receipt, storage, marketing and sale of surplus property generated by the Defense Department nationwide and across all U.S. territories.

Work under the new deal will begin in the first half of the company’s fiscal year 2015.
