Steven Rizzi, a former SAIC (NYSE: SAI) executive,  has joined PAR Technology (NYSE: PAR) subsidiary PAR Government Systems Corp. as vice president for national capital region operations.
The intelligence industry veteran will report to ISR Innovations Vice President Matthew Cicchinelli and lead both business expansion and other initiatives, PAR said Thursday.
At SAIC, Rizzi helped lead technology development and oversaw the company’s international cyber strategy.
His focus areas also included SAIC’s emerging markets and operations in Australia as vice president for the Asia-Pacific.
“Steve’s experience and passion for solving challenging customer problems are the key reasons for our excitement about his new role at PAR Government, †said Stephen Lynch, PGSC president.
“He will provide us with an important corporate presence within the National Capital Region where his many relationships in the intelligence community and industry are expected to advance our business in that region.â€
