Raytheon Wins $298M to Build Air Force FAB-T Satellite Terminals

SatelliteRaytheon has won a $298 million contract modification to produce the U.S. Air Force‘s Family of Advanced Beyond Line of Sight Terminals Command Post Terminals system.

The deal provides options for low-rate initial production, full-rate production and interim contractor support, the company said Monday.

FAB-T terminals are intended to help support a presidential conference system for communications between the president, defense secretary and uniformed military leaders.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/HNSK at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts manages the contract and could award options for phase two production work upon completion of Milestone C.

Production work will occur in Marlborough, Mass. and Largo, Fla.
