Ganesh Murthy, formerly executive vice president and chief financial officer of Hewlett-Packard’s (NYSE: HPQ) Mphasis Ltd. subsidiary, has joined Dell Services as VP and CFO, CIOL reported Monday.Murthy will report directly to Dell SVP and CFO Thomas Sweet and Dell Services President Suresh Vaswani in Bangalore, according to the report.
“Ganesh will help us execute our long-term strategy of innovating and driving value for our customers and the transformation of our business with disciplined cost management, †Vaswani told CIOL.
He served as finance director of Bangalore-based HP GlobalSoft Ltd. before he joined Mphasis, the report says.
Ganesh previously held finance roles at Texas Instruments and Thomson Multimedia, CIOL reports.
