Christine Laurens, a 12-year A.T. Kearney veteran and formerly vice president of global finance, has elevated to the chief financial officer role at the Chicago-based management consulting provider.“I’m particularly excited about the role our finance team can play in supporting and driving A.T. Kearney’s ambitions to double in size by 2020, ” Laurens said Wednesday.
Laurens has also served as finance director for the firm’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
She acted as counsel during the firm’s management buyout in 2006.
“Christine has shown a steady hand at harmonizing our processes and implementing practices globally to support our growth agenda, ” said Johan Aurik, managing partner and board chairman.
Laurens joined the firm in 2002 as finance director for Southwest Europe and started her career at Ernst & Young.
