The company said Thursday that Ahern will oversee contract formation and administration and change management for a variety of business projects and initiatives, among other responsibilities.
“Tom’s transportation industry experience is well established, and I’m confident that his talents will continue Parsons’ tradition of success, ” said Nick Hutchinson, Parsons executive vice president for OSS.
Ahern’s work for Parsons includes the Aceh Road/Bridge reconstruction and rehabilitation project in Indonesia and train control systems across the U.S.
He has contributed to projects in various locations worldwide, such as Canada, Â Brazil, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
