Teledyne Technologies (NYSE: TDY) has given senior executives Rex Geveden and Janice Hess further responsibility over the company’s digital imaging and engineered systems business segments, respectively.
Beginning May 16, Geveden will oversee the Teledyne DALSA digital imaging company and Hess will serve as president of the engineered systems segment and its Teledyne Brown Engineering division, Teledyne said Thursday.
Geveden will continue to serve as a Teledyne executive vice president as Hess moves up from her previous post as EVP and chief operating officer for engineered systems.
“They have each demonstrated strong leadership, and I am pleased to provide them additional responsibility, ” said Robert Mehrabian, chairman, president and CEO.
Prior to joining Teledyne in 2007, Geveden was an associate administrator at NASA and worked in the space, defense and energy industries for 24 years.
Meanwhile, Hess was chief financial officer and vice president of finance and administration at Intergraph Computer Systems before joining Teledyne Brown in 2000.
