On Heels of Kubasik Hire, Seabury Group Continues Aerospace Push With 2 New Managing Directors


Seabury GroupBrian Karpiel and Antares Reis have elevated to managing director roles at Seabury Group as the firm looks to bolster its investment banking operations in the aerospace sector.

Karpiel will lead the aerospace investment banking division from New York, manage its mergers and acquisition activity and sponsor coverage activities, Seabury said Monday.

Reis will head the division’s European business from London.

“These individuals have each played an important role in advancing our firm’s growth, and with addition to our recently appointed Chief Operating Officer & President Chris E. Kubasik, will continue to drive our mission of resolving our clients’ most strategic, complex and critical business problem, ” said John Luth, the company’s chairman and chief executive officer.

Kubasik joined Seabury in March after a stint with Lockheed Martin.

Karpiel, who previously served as acting global chief of the Aerospace & Defense Investment Banking division, has 23 years of experience in the fields of aviation, aerospace and defense and industrial products working with U.S. Airways and General Electric, among others.

Reis was a vice president at Barons Financial Services,  General Electric and CIT Aerospace and worked across aerospace and defense market segments.
