John Jordan, formerly air and missile defense systems division lead of Wyle, has been named president of the company’s CAS group headquartered in Huntsville, Ala.Jordan succeeds George Prueitt and will report directly to Chief Operating Officer Roger Wiederkehr, Wyle said Thursday.
“His dedication to our customers’ missions and his focus on providing outstanding service will be key elements in continuing to grow Wyle’s missile defense and aviation practice, †said Wiederkehr.
He will work to oversee the company’s Defense Department business, with a focus on weapons system and analyses services.
The 30-year Wyle veteran most recently led Wyle’s technical services for the management of the U.S. Army’s weapons programs for seven years.
Jordan was responsible for Wyle’s three test labs in 2011.
