David Fisher, former chief risk officer and senior adviser to the commissioner at the Internal Revenue Service, has joined SRA International as vice president and business transformation officer.
Fisher will be responsible for overseeing the company’s work in continuous improvement of business processes and operational optimization activities, SRA said Tuesday.
His government career includes service as chief administrative officer and chief financial officer at the Government Accountability Office, director of the Defense Department‘s Business Transformation Agency.
Within the private sector, he served as a managing director at BearingPoint before he joined DoD.
Fisher authored the book Optimize Now (or else!): How to Leverage Processes and Information to Achieve Enterprise Optimization and Avoid Enterprise Extinction.
