Deltek expects the government to start accepting bids to win positions on three large contracts in the next two months, research manager Ashley Bergander wrote Monday for the Washington Post.
The Herndon-based industry research firm believes the multiple-award, government-wide federal contracts will provide teaming opportunities for large and small contractors.
By June, Deltek anticipates the Defense Department to release solicitations for its three-year Contract Field Team Maintenance program with an estimated total worth of $11.4 billion.
Contract work will include will involve modification, maintenance, inspection and repair of equipment located in the U.S. and abroad and has two two-year options plus a six-month option.
Bergander said a second contract, the Contract Augmentation Program IV program, is up for unrestricted competition this summer, covering base operations support for the Air Force during disaster recovery operations.
The estimated $5 billion contract has a duration period of one base year and four one-year options.
Deltek expects solicitation for a third contract from the Health and Human Services in May.
