Curtis Buser Appointed Acting Carlyle Group CFO

the carlyle groupCurtis Buser, a longtime accounting director at the Carlyle Group, has been appointed as the firm’s acting chief financial officer, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

Michael Calia writes the executive will fill the role while the firm searches a replacement for Adena Friedman, who left the position vacant following her transfer to the Nasdaq OMX Group.

Buser was an audit partner for Ernst & Young LLP prior to joining Carlyle in September 2004.
