Brian Clark: NCI Extends Contract to Run Air Force’s Carrier Fleet Mgmt System

NCI Inc.Enterprise technology firm NCI (NASDAQ: NCIT) has been awarded a $3.5 million contract to help the U.S Air Force update and maintain the branch’s air carrier analysis support infrastructure.

Air Mobility Command uses the ACAS system to facilitate oversight of civil air carriers and manage the Civil Reserve Air Fleet, NIC said Thursday.

The contract has six base months and four one-year options that could extend work to 2018.

“We are proud to continue our role in supporting this mission-critical application with our systems development and integration efforts, ” said NCI President Brian Clark.

NCI will also integrate the ACAS system with the command’s enterprise interfaces and applications.

Other support services covered by the contract include project management, system and software requirements analysis, electronic data exchange development, configuration management and program documentation.
