Amit Chatterje Named CA Technologies Enterprise Solutions, Technology Group EVP; Mike Gregoire Comments

CA technologiesAmit Chatterje, a 20-year technology and software professional, has been appointed executive vice president of CA Technologies‘ (Nasdaq: CA) Enterprise Solutions and Technology Group, following the departure of Peter Griffiths.

Chatterje, a 2011 recipient of Ernst & Young‘s Entrepreneur of the Year – Venture Capital award, will be in charge of the above group’s business strategy and execution, CA said Wednesday.

“Amit is a successful innovator, business builder and team leader, and I am excited to have attracted an executive with his unique experience and capabilities to our company, ” said Mike Gregoire, CA’s chief executive officer.

Chatterjee founded software-as-a-service firm Hara, where he also served as CEO, and worked as senior vice president for business user development at SAP and a management counsel with McKinsey.

In his new role, Chatterjee will be based at CA’s Silicon Valley Technology Center in Santa Clara, California.
