Sanjiv Gossain to Lead CSC’s UK, Ireland, Netherlands Operations

CSC logo_GovConWireSanjiv Gossain, formerly a senior vice president at Cognizant Technology Solutions, has joined Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) as a vice president and managing director.

The 25-year information technology industry veteran will CSC’s operations in the U.K., Ireland and the Netherlands,  the company announced Monday.

He will report to John Maguire, executive vice president and general manager of global sales and marketing and regional operations at CSC.

Maguire said Gossain will also lead work to establish CSC’s new regional hub in London, which the company expects to open in May with leadership, sales and client management functions assigned to it.

Gossain worked at Cognizant for 10 years in roles such as global markets lead for the telecommunications and media industry and managing director for operations in the U.K. and Ireland.

He is also a co-founder of Boston- based management consulting and systems integration firm NerveWire.
