McKinsey’s Kito de Boer to Head Palestine Private-Sector Investments for ‘Middle East Quartet’

McKinsey & CompanyKito de Boer, a director at McKinsey & Co., will oversee private-sector investment initiatives in Palestine for a group known as the “Middle East Quartet, ” the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.

De Boer has worked at McKinsey since 1985 and has been based in Dubai since 1999,  the Journal reports.

He has advised European, Middle Eastern and African governments on how to address issues such as economic growth, education and healthcare.

The Middle East Quartet comprises of the United Nations, the European Union, the U.S. and Russia and was formed in 2002 to help mediate peace talks between Israel and Palestine.
