Jeanne Usher, formerly deputy managing director at Northrop Grumman‘s (NYSE: NOC) Sperry Marine unit, has been promoted to the managing director position following Alan Dix’s retirement.
Northrop said Tuesday that Usher will oversee the U.K.-based business unit’s global commercial and defense programs and navigation product portfolio, which includes radars and compass systems.
The appointment is effective immediately as Dix retires after a 33-year career at Northrop.
Usher has held strategy, market development and supply chain and program management roles since joining Northrop in 1981.
She graduated with an industrial engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin and has completed both the Harvard University general management program and the University of Maryland executive marketing strategy program.
