Geoffrey Godet: Flatirons Solutions Buys CORENA to Target Aerospace, Defense Clients

big data2Flatirons Solutions has moved to expand its content lifecycle management offerings by acquiring CORENA, a software development company based in Europe.

Geoffrey Godet, CEO of Flatirons Solutions, said Tuesday the company intends to help meet the cloud requirements of customers in the aerospace and defense industries through the acquisition.

Flatirons added clients are seeking to develop and deliver technical content over the lifecycles of civil and military assets such as aircraft, trains, ships and energy equipment.

The CLM service provider will integrate CORENA’s portfolio into its research and development programs in order to help address needs that arise from S1000D information standards, electronic documentation systems and a shift to mobile devices.

“We are excited to come together with Flatirons Solutions to keep pace with increasing functional demands and geographic coverage that respond to constant change and user expectations, ” said Toralf Johannessen, CEO of CORENA.
