CHSi Subsidiary Lands Medical Work Under US Foreign Sales Deal; Gary Palmer Comments


healthcare-systemA Comprehensive Health Services Inc. subsidiary has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide on-site healthcare services at Iraq’s Balad Air Base through the U.S. foreign military sales program.

Sallyport Global Services awarded the contract to CHS Middle East LLC as part of an FMS deal for F-16 aircraft with the Iraqi government, CHSi said Monday.

CHS Middle East will deliver clinical laboratory, dental, emergency care, pharmaceutical and surgical services to approximately 2, 500 military personnel at Balad Air Base.

“CHSi, especially our international support team based in Cape Canaveral, is proud to have been selected to provide critical high-quality, workforce health solutions to support the men and women performing mission-critical work at the Balad Air Base, “  said Gary Palmer, CHSi president.

“We are committed to creating healthier and stronger personnel in the U.S. and abroad, ” Palmer added.

CHSi has worked with the Iraqi military under a State Department medical service support program in that Middle Eastern country.
