Charles Fletcher, Boeing and Alion Vet, Appointed MAT President

McLane Advanced TechnologiesCharles Fletcher Jr., a retired two-star Army general, has been appointed president at technology services provider McLane Advanced Technologies.

Fletcher holds six years of senior management experience in the private sector and at least 30 years of military service in fields such as aviation and logistics, MAT said Monday.

He worked in logistics at Boeing and has served as a senior vice president at Alion Science and Technology.

His final role in the military prior to retirement was director of operations and plans at U.S. Transportation Command.

He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy with an engineering degree, a master’s degree in systems management from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in national resource strategy from the National Defense University.
