Foster will be based out of Alexandria, Va. and has completed at least $4 billion financing deals in his career, Bostonia said recently.
As senior vice president and managing director of Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital‘s federal business unit, Foster handled origination and financing for government projects in areas such as energy efficiency, telecommunications and transportation.
Other projects he has worked on include biomass cogeneration and gasification, renewable energy savings agreements, submarine fiber optic system and the Titan Cray supercomputer.
Foster has trained government management personnel on federal energy management programs and has spoken about government infrastructure financing projects at GovEnergy, GreenGov and other events.
