Palo Alto Networks will pay approximately $200 million to purchase the outstanding capital stock of Israeli threat prevention technology provider Cyvera.
The companies expect to close the deal in the second half of this year after customary regulatory approvals have been completed, Palo Alto Networks said Monday.
The acquisition is intended to combine the firms’ cybersecurity offerings and help customers protect networks, applications and devices.
Cyvera has built a platform designed to identify malicious threats in real time and protect enterprise system endpoints against zero-day attacks.
