Neal Tomblyn has joined Capstone Corporation’s executive team to oversee the company’s growth and marketing strategy as senior vice president of business development, marketing and communications.
The more-than-35-year business development and marketing leader most recently served as director of business development for Lockheed Martin‘s transportation solutions business, where he provided strategic direction, drove relationships with government leaders and helped plan its products and solutions.

“His experience working with cutting edge technologies as well as high end services and solutions aligns well with Capstone’s strategic intent to be a technology, services and solutions leader in the education and training markets.”
During his career, Tomblyn has worked in the federal, international and commercial markets with companies ranging in stage from entrepreneurial business ventures to the Fortune 50.
Some of his previous executive stops were in sales, business development, marketing and operational leadership with companies including Harris Corp., Xerox, TCI and Reuters.
Tomblyn also held leadership positions with Bell Atlantic and Telecommunications Inc.
Capstone also looked to bolster its technology vision and leadership in February with the addition of David Magnone as chief technology officer.
Magnone is another veteran of the GovCon executive ranks who has also founded companies in the technology and management consulting spaces.
