Mike Corkery: Deltek Aims to Complement ERP Portfolio With Sohnar Acquisition

Deltek has acquired London-based program management application developer Sohnar for an undisclosed amount in a move aimed at expanding Deltek’s professional services automation portfolio.

Sohnar makes the cloud-based Traffic LIVE product for users to create estimates and quotes and schedule resources for projects.Deltek announced  Thursday.

Traffic LIVE contains an online studio, workflow management and resource planning systems, timekeeping tools and features for client billing.

Mike Corkery, Deltek CEO, said the company made the acquisition to complement its Maconomy ERP system and to offer Traffic LIVE to clients in the creative industry.

“While Traffic LIVE is well-known in the marketing agency space, its innovative capabilities are also a great fit for Deltek’s other project-based customers, ” Corkery said.

Many Deltek customers use Traffic LIVE to manage projects and workflow in their enterprises.
