Mark Lucas Joins QinetiQ NA in Strategic Programs Leadership Role

qinetiqMark Lucas, formerly an acquisition and warfare analysis leader at WBB, has joined QinetiQ North America as director of strategic programs within the mission solutions business unit.

The retired Navy commander has led operational and combat tours as a flight officer in Kosovo and Iraq, QNA said Tuesday.

Other Navy roles have included service as action officer for the deputy assistant navy secretary for air programs, product team lead for Air Wing Ship Integration Level 1 Integrated program and lead systems engineer for the C-9/C-40 Medium Lift program.

At QNA, Lucas will lead the company’s operations in Patuxent River, Md. and also work with the Tomahawk Command and Control System and Unmanned Common Control System teams.
