BRTRC has acquired cybersecurity contractor SecureForce for an undisclosed amount in a move that Larry McDonald, BRTRC’s chief operating officer, says is intended to grow his company’s cyber, big data and analytics technologies.
SecureForce provides cybersecurity and information assurance services to government agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, Transportation Security Administration and NASA, BRTRC said Monday.
Marc Perrelli, president and CEO of SecureForce, said the companies intend to work with clients on securing critical infrastructures and meeting needs for security operations and engineering.
McDonald added that BRTRC intends to grow its offerings for a current contract with the Department of Homeland Security and other federal information technology projects by adding SecureForce’s technologies.
