John Gully: SAIC-Led Team to Help Army Sustain Missile Tech Under $836M Order


SAIC logoScience Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has been awarded a three-year, $836 million task order to provide system engineering and lifecycle support to the Army‘s Aviation and Missile Command.

SAIC will lead a team of 285 contractors to work with the software engineering directorate at AMCOM’s Redstone Arsenal, Ala.-based research, development and engineering center, SAIC said Thursday.

John Gully, senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s Army and Air Force Customer Group, said aims to help the branch sustain aviation and missile technology for warfighters.

The follow-on order contains a three-year base peformance period.

Close to 2, 000 professionals will perform the contract work and small business subcontractors will account for more than 40 percent of the entire work.
