Ian Copeland to Head DynCorp’s UK Arm; Chris Bernhardt Comments

DyncorpLogoMaj. Gen. Ian Copeland, who retired from the British army earlier this year, has joined DynCorp International as U.K. managing director as the company aims to expand in Britain, the company said Thursday.

Chris Bernhardt, DynCorp president, said the company intends to leverage its experience in maintaining military aircraft and vehicles worldwide to seek business opportunities in the U.K.

The company also plans to pursue market opportunities in Europe and Africa, DynCorp says.

DynCorp helps operates military programs globally, maintains U.S. aircraft and allied forces’ vehicles, coordinates road and air movement of military resources, and trains Afghan military and government personnel.
