Allan Steinhardt, a vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), has been named a Booz Allen Fellow for his thought leadership work in the field of defense.
Steinhardt leads a group of science, engineering and math professionals that work with the Office of the Secretary of Defense on prototyping and technology roadmaps, Booz Allen said Thursday.
The team also analyzes portfolios and provides innovation services to OSD and agencies such as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
As a fellow, Steinhardt will serve as a resource person for clients across markets while continuing his role in Booz Allen’s Science Functional Community.
He has previously worked at Cornell University, BAE Systems, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Radar Group and IEEE.
The book and academic journal author is a member of the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association board and the National Academies’ Naval Studies Board.
