Veritas Capital Closes $383M Anaren Buy; Hugh Evans, Larry Sala Comment

acquisitionAn affiliate of private equity investment firm Veritas Capital Fund IV LP has completed its acquisition of Anaren Inc. (NASDAQ: ANEN) for nearly $383 million.

Veritas Capital will pay Anaren stockholders $28 per share in cash and Anaren’s common stock will be removed from the NASDAQ stock market under the new ownership, Anaren said Tuesday.

Hugh Evans, partner of Veritas Capital, said the company intends to carry forward Anaren’s business of providing technologies and products to space, defense and communications customers.

“As a private company and under the guidance of Veritas, we will continue to serve our customers and end markets while seeking to broaden our product offerings and expand into adjacent market spaces, ” added Larry Sala, Anaren CEO.

Anaran stockholders approved the transaction Feb. 6.
