David Magnone has joined Capstone Corporation to provide technical vision and leadership across the company’s technology domains as Capstone’s chief technology officer.
The more-than-30-year business, technology and engineering leader is also responsible for broadening Capstone’s offerings by introducing new innovative technology solutions into its services portfolio, the company said Tuesday.
Magnone has founded two companies over his career including Infinite Technology, a management consulting and full life cycle systems and software development firm that served customers in several sectors.
He also co-founded InfiNet Global Communications, a holder of “VoIP click to call” technology patents.

Alexandria, Va.-based Capstone provides training, management and information solutions and services to U.S. federal government customers in more than 20 U.S. states and at several overseas locations.
Magnone has worked with large government and commercial customers across his career and helped lead the technical and business sides of large software systems integration programs for companies including ITT, Harris Corp, Grumman, GTE Government Systems and CGI.
This included work on command, control, communications, and surveillance systems; integrated cyber solutions; and census field data collection and range safety automation, among other areas.
