Booz Allen to Continue Support for DHS Cyber Breach Simulation Program

CybersecurityBooz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has received a $400, 000 contract to continue supporting a Department of Homeland Security-sponsored cyber attack preparedness exercise, Nextgov reported Thursday.

Aliya Sternstein writes that Booz Allen supports the DHS’ Cyber Storm drill, which aims to evaluate the nation’s response capabilities in the event of a large-scale system attack.

Work under the follow-on contract award began Feb. 6 and is slated to be completed on April 6, according to the report.

Nextgov reports the DHS awarded a potential five-year, $15 million contract to Booz Allen under the biennial cyber simulation program in 2009.

The department plans to solicit bids from industry for a new Cyber Storm contract next month, according to Sternstein.
