Big Sky Associates has been awarded a contract to help a Defense Department organization design a framework for protecting information systems against insider threats.
The unnamed DoD customer aims to implement an insider threat detection program to comply with a presidential memorandum on information security, Big Sky said Wednesday.
John Dillard, founder and president of Big Sky, said the company uses a data analysis platform in order to help clients address IT security management gaps.
Big Sky will develop tools and methods for the DoD customer to implement and assess anti-insider threat initiatives.
The management and technology consulting firm has worked with the Pentagon to help defense organizations adhere to national insider threat policies and standards.
